Welcome to Stainglass Door! This is a review website created for all denominations seeking a congregation to call home or a place to pray while out of town. We have created Stainglass door to help others find their best congregational fit. Our goal is for no one to experience the anguish we did, trying to find the best church for our family. When we moved to a new state, thought we did all the right things…. We did the church tours, the school tours, asked around to friends and friends of friends and researched online. The congregation looked like a good fit on the surface. When we began making the new church our home, we then realized all our research was insubstantial. We didn’t ask the right questions. To be honest, we weren’t really sure what to ask. All the facts and information the parish told us sounded spot-on for our needs. But we learned, what we needed couldn’t be answered by a tour. So began our mission to build a site where all denominations can share their likes and dislikes of churches they have attended. While all reviews may not be positive, we are not looking to discuss religions as whole, but to help others find the best place to worship. Thank you for your time, honesty and insight.
